Have installed SMART, now no boost control

So here's what I did yesterday:

-welded bung onto downpipe
-flashed XEDE firmware to v3.2
-used SMART template, zeroed out SMART timing & fuel, changed boost to my old settings
-wired knock buffer and wideband into XEDE harness
-installed bleeder tube (under airbox, connected 2 vacuum lines together that were connected to boost solenoid as per instructions)

Note - o2 sensor not installed yet, XEDE shows green light

Here's my problem, I now have no boost control. If I zero out my boost table, I still peg my boost gauge. I'd assume its from the bleeder tube, but I did it exactly like others have in this forum. Any ideas?

Make sure you didn't knock off any boost lines when you removed downpipe. If the table is zeroed, and you are still making enough boost to peg the gauge, something is happening with your mechanical spring pressure.

I would check for cuts in the lines, a crimped line, or a removed line.

definetely sounds like a vac hose issue. the bleeder is just supposed to go "inline" with the vac hose that runs from the solenoid to the "T" coming off the wastegate/boost source

Everything I read on the bleeder was to completely disconnect the tubes from the solenoid and then connect them together with the bleeder. So its supposed to run inline with the line that has the brass fastener on it, with both lines still running to the solenoid?

yes the bleeder goes inline on the hose oposite of the one that feeds to the maf pipe. the insturctions you read are for xflashed cars.
