Ok Evo, looks like things are kosher now, no? I dont like people slamming others on here. I have nothing but great things to say about VISHNU, and I dont have the SMART system either!

Hey Calvin could you also provide V300 (stage 0) 91 and 93 Oct maps for the V3.2 firmware?

Well thank you very much for the maps.....but now I have another question.....

The maps you posted for V3.2 are completely different than the maps converted from V2. It seems the V3 maps have ALOT more fuel pulled out of them and even a bit more timing to compensate for that fuel. I will assume that as time goes on you find better ways of doing things and these maps are superior to the previous maps.

Now the question..... Using these much different maps....am I to use the same proceedure to make a race gas map that I used on V2 maps?

The reason I ask...... On the V2 stage zero plus map at the most extreme part of the map you were pulling 8% fuel and .9 degrees timing. When making a race gas map I pulled 4% more fuel out and zero'd timing. So my overall max fuel pull was -12% with zero'd timing which gave me about 1 degree more than stock.

Now on these maps you have me pull 16% right off the top on pump gas!!!! Timing is backed off around 4 degrees. However when I go to make a race gas map I will be at -20% FUEL and I will be adding 4 degrees of timing. THAT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN TUNE!

Basically your current stage 0 plus pump gas map is now MUCH more aggressive than the V2's race gas maps. Are you sure this is correct?

Has anything changed in the stage 0+ maps? I have SMART and have had no time to retune anything with my old stage 0+ map...smart is active, but I can tell I'm running very rich. Any suggestions?

Yes the maps have changed.....at least from the V2 versions.

It appears that Shiv has changed his tuning practices from running richer with more timing to running MUCH leaner with a little less timing.

Between the V2 and V3 map there is about a 10% difference in fuel up top!!!!!

It's crazy how much fuel it's pulling up top. I have a 0+ map that I made myself and I'm not pulling more than 5 up top, and I get consistent 11:1. Can someone run the new 0+ maps and datalog? I'm scared to run that even on race gas.. haha

I was looking for a '05 Sub-Zero map.
I have made a post. I also emailed and such and recieved two maps, one from Shiv (on a post) and one from Dustin (from an email). The maps have major differences in timing and fuel. I tried to get Shiv to tell me what one to use but never got a strait answer. Here is the thread (IT HAS BOTH MAPS AVALIBLE FOR DOWNLOAD).

I guess shiv was pretty clear, his is a little stronger map, dustin's is a little more conservative, but I guess it would be nice for someone to come out and make a decisive statement since they're the ones that are supposed to know what they're doing.

What are you using to read AFR?

I no longer have a wideband but when I first purchased my SMART system I was using the standard V2 converted maps that pulled about 8% fuel up top. My AFR was about 11:1. The new maps are pulling twice the fuel the old ones were. This is more aggressive than the race gas map from the V2 maps. Please explain why the drastic change in tune. Also are we still to use the same proceedure to build a race gas map?

I didn't read my post after I wrote it, and it kinda comes off like I was trying to be a jerk. Sorry if it came off that way. I was just trying to sympathize with his question. I didn't really figure we could go wrong using either map. By the way, thanks for getting the maps up on the website.

Well I am glad to see the maps finally get posted......however it shouldn't take a thread like this to get support. I'm not going to apologize for this post. It should be Vishnu apologizing for the delay. I consider the thread justified as there are still people asking for lower stage maps that haven't been posted and we are still stuck using SMART maps with zero'd cells. These SMART-disabled maps have been giving a few of us problems because they take longer to load.

There are still unanswered questions about race gas maps and it would also be nice if you explained the drastic changes in the pump gas maps.

I know you said the stage zero plus map is from a car you tuned in Texas but do you really think its smart to post a map that has only been proven on one car?

I feel you should dedicate a little more time to your existing customer base. Unhappy customers are the primary source to find new ways to improve you customer support.
