Rushin.....

Are you using the new maps that were just uploaded?
Somehow I left off that it logs RPM also

No, my fuel map is attached. so you can see it. It's more conservative than the latest vishnu maps. My timing is similar though. My MAF problem seems to get worse the more fuel I pull.

In order to make 93 oct stage 0+ map that has the smart disabled do all you have to do to enable it fill the smart fuel table with the appropriate values? Will this start the other smart maps to be active?

I just looked at your maps and have a theory... But please forgive me if I am incorrect as I am just trying to learn how this works.

I think that your modifications to your fuel table are not having the desired effect due to the SMART fuel adjustments. As you add fuel SMART then sees that it is not in its "Happy Zone" and then removes some fuel.

Perhaps the "Happy Zone" is too aggressive for your car? Try turning off SMART and see what happens.

I sure wish SHIV would answer my question.

I forgot to mention that I have SMART fuel disabled.. I'm trying to dial in my base maps and that's when I ran across this problem.

Have you highlighted the fuel map in Xmap and done a run?
This will leave a trace behind allowing you to see which cells it is using to influence the MAF readings.

Yes, I've tried that. I can also see from logging MAF which fuel trims it's using. No where in my fuel map do I have a -12%, but that's the difference in MAF that I see at 6200rpm in the log.

Ok... would you mind reposting your questions to make it a bit easier on me? Been kinda hectic here the last few days.

From the looks of these logs....people are running nearly 12:1 afr on pump gas. This seems lean to me at least for pump gas. Do you really pulling 15% fuel is safe? I know you tuned it off of a guys car in Texas but that doesn't mean it will be safe for all of us. It is much leaner than my previous race gas map.

....and that brings me to race gas maps....

Is it still your instruction to zero timing and pull 4 more points of fuel out?

Zero'ing timing before ment I recovered .9 degree....no I will be advancing 4 degrees!

Please give me a little reassurance and instruction.

The newly posted stage 0 plus logs.

The earlier logs pulled 8% fuel and 1 degree timing.

These pull 15% fuel and 4.5 degrees of timing.

That is a very drastic change.....my race gas map was -12% zero'd.

Hey there...I just loaded the SMART version of your "new" 93 octane stage 0+ map that was uploaded on the vishnu website. With smart enabled monitoring the smart fuel and smart timing tables I would have to say I'm rather impressed. My car ran in the "safe and happy" zone through the entire range on the smart timing map. Then on the smart fuel map my car was perfect all the way up until the highest RPM range. The SMART system did have to compensate alittle between 5000-7500rpm. Its kinda weird its like it followed the "safe and happy" zone from 500-4500rpm straight off to 7500rpm. The most fuel it had to add was 1.2%. I'm guessing this is not a very big problem and that Smart is actually doing a very good job. My car is pullings noticably harder.

If I was running lean or the car wasn't liking it the SMART map monitoring would show something correct?

If this is a good indicator as to how stable these maps are then props to shiv....i'm loving the feel!
