Thumbs down Pizzed Off About Maps!!!

I really do not enjoy ripping on customer service but I have to say that Vishnu is really starting to disappoint me.

I have called, sent emails, made posts in this forum and still I cannot get the maps I need for my car. Ever since version 3.2 was released it seems like Vishnu doesn't feel like supporting lower level or non-smart cars.

I and many others on this forum have been looking for stage zero plus maps and no one will provide us the maps we need. Even some of shivs own guys are telling us to use maps that aren't intended for our mod level. This is really starting to make me angry. I am almost at the point were I want to sell my XEDE and move on to something with better support.

None of the V2 05 maps are downloadable and maps for V3 below stage one do not exist!

Someone better get their act together or I and others will start to NOT recommend going with the XEDE for their evo. Trust me when I say that a few angry customers can really bring the hurt in a forum like this!

If anyone else has something to add please feel free to post. I have done several searches on this matter and there are multiple threads that have gone unanswered. I have PM's a few of these folks and all have said that Shiv just blows them off. This is not a good business practice. Make things right and get the 05 maps posted. I am sick of hear excuses or "***** in Shivs court" answers.

UNHAPPY WITH VISHNU,
John

whoa bro. Simma down! lol Gotta understand these guys can't live on these forums 24/7. They've got lives to live and when at work cars to fix.

What's your email address ? I still have a v2 Stage 0+ map on my computer that I downloaded from Vishnu back in the day that I can send to ya. I downloaded a few other maps too.

lets see if this works. This is the baseline map i downloaded a while back ago for v2 stage 0+. If I recall, When I added the 10.5 hotside, I turned down the boost tables (labeled unknown in v2) a bit across the whole board until I got custom tuned.

I too have been asking for a 2005 stage zero plus map.

I understand they dont live on this forum and I'm not asking them to. At a minimum they should have a functional website to optain the files I need.

Besides I have been asking for these files for more than a week and I too have called and emailed. I was told on the phone only Shiv handles the software distribution. Apparently he is blowing me (read all of us) off.

The above posted map is that of a 03/04 car not a 05/10.5HS car.

If you are still at stage zero plus and wouldn't mind posting you custom tune map I would like to compare that to the standard map you just posted.

I recommend that Shiv gets back in the game as well.

I'm afraid not, im at Stage 1+ with a hotside. I would think the 03 stage 0+ with turned down boost tables should serve alright for a temp map until you get custom tuned. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I too need a stg 0+ map but have not been able to get one. I don't understand why the maps below stg 1 are not available on the website. I mean they were there before ver 3.2 came out, why not now?

It would be nice if Vishnu had the Xede maps for all the stages available for download on their website, I'm sure it'll be up at some point. They must be busy tuning the EVO 9 ...

I have nothing to add but..

When you guys use these maps are they just baselines you start your tuning at? Or do you just load a map and go? I've always wondered this... so many people always wanting maps.

Load & go. No tuning required.

Okay this looks a little different than what I expected to see.

Is this file the 2005 Stage ZERO PLUS map?

If so it actually pulls less fuel and more timing than the 03/04 map.

Kinda makes me question if its a stage zero or a stage zero plus map.

The above posted map is not a ZERO PLUS map. Its a plain old ZERO. So I'm right back to where I was a week ago.......

I have a $1k computer and cannot get the correct software to load on the thing!
