Talking Too excited

Just sent my ecu off to Vishnu to get the xedeflash done. hopefully they get it on Monday. Am in the middle of cams/gears/hotside in my car, and then on to finally installing my xede/smart I have had in the garage for 6 months.
I am excited to finally enter the world of xede.....

Have been following this forum for a while and asked a few questions here and there and am impressed with the Vishnu crowd and how quickly questions are answered...

I CAN'T WAIT..

yea, glad to be done with the dynoflash. shiv is reflashing me with the xedeflash. he has a good product, but sucks that you have to pay to have it reflashed everytime you add/subtract a part, and I kind of feel like I was taken with the road tune I had in slc last march...

glad to be in this camp, mostly based on the "vishnu alumni" and the service/support that I know will be there.

You have some good self-control in not installing your xede sooner. Anyway please post your impressions of smart/etc. and will you be doing any toooning on the xede?

will do as soon as I finish installing it. I know that I will have to upgrade the firmware and then download maps. am curious to see how easy this process is. don't plan on doing any tuning right away until I get the feel for how the system operates. am hoping that with smart, there will be little tuning to do initially and the system will just "run".
plan on doing some drag racing this summer and am most excited about the launch control and the upcoming meth injection.

thanks all. I am very excited to learn about tuning. I had an safc on my highly modded eclipse, but I never took the time to learn how to tune with widebands and af's and the such. looking forward to tuning on a real platform, but one that offers some degree of safety(smart), and offers real features and the ability to change a tune that the flashes just don't offer without sending in an ecu and paying every time..

GO VISHNU.....
