Got It! I'll update Saturday

 

Ok, I updated my firmware. It seemed to keep my maps and didn't earse them. I did upload them again.

I noticed that the fuel pump now primes w/ the key in the on position. I also noticed that the LED on my XEDE keeps flashing orange and won't go to green. Is this due to leaving the purple wire in the black connector? The purple wire is unhooked from power.

I didn't get to play w/ all new button since my battery in my laptop is almost dead.

 

jj 008--- try uploading and burning the maps again. The purple wire can still be in the black connector.. just not routed to 12v. It should go solid green upon start-up. Just key on and wait a sec before cranking it over.

 

Just uploaded them again and I still get the flashing orange light. I waited for about 15 seconds before start up.

 

Hmm.... let's see if anyone else runs into that problem. In the meantime, go ahead and reload the old firmware so you get your XEDE on-line again

If it verified ok, then there shouldn't be any reason to. But check yer email.

 

The different firmware didn't fix it either. I checked the XEDE info both times and it showed the right firmware so I think I am doing it right. I am using Xupdate too.

 

I went back to the old firmware and everything works like normal now. Makes me feel like I was doing the other ones right .

 

Alright I have the email and firmware, updated xmap. I havent updated yet but was exploring on my computer.

Do we have to enable the conditional features ourselves?

*edit* looked at the example upcoming features thread and I can Implement them myself it seems by reading that. Been so long since I read it my brain deleted it!
