Does your Xede light turn green when you start the car with the new firmware?
I can flash the firmware but when I start the car all simptoms of working are there except the light stays blinking orange. When I connect to xmap v 3.2.0.13 there is no rpm signal being registered.

Yep The names of the tables will have to be rewritten. With the firmware update, the first 3 letters of all the map names had to be deleted due to the memory requirements of all the new conditional stuff.

Just go to "Edit this Map" and re-write the name on each table and your done.

Anyone else complete the firmware update process? Light should turn solid green as per usual with the car running. You should also get a "verified" report after the firmware update.

Jorge-- what map bank were you on when you updated firmware? Make sure you are on MAP 0.

could there be anything on the xede directory that can be afecting the firmware? I have other xede related files than the ones that came with the zip file you sent.

I tried again tonight and I still can't get the XEDE to go online. I still can't get the new Xmap to update the firmware either. Only Xupdate is working for me. I am on map 0 too.

Ok.. it shouldn't matter how the firmware is updated (Xupdate, xmap, etc,.). But did the update process verify ok? If so, it could that you need to update your pattern file. To do this, just get communication with the XEDE using the beta XMap (ignition ON). Then go to "set-up->configure timing signal." Select the attacked file (unzip it first, of course). Then click on "Configure XEDE to use this timing pattern". This process takes several seconds so hang tight. Once it is done, start the car and see if the XEDE goes online. Lemme know!

Yep, it verifies fine. When you take it out of boot mode and power off then on (start), the orange light just flashes.

Still no rpm signal/offline blinking orange light. Updated firmware 2 times, 1 before updating crank timing pattern, 1 after and both times got same results.

The firmware update process I assume is succesfull since every time I can revert to the older firmware version with no problems even with the new xtp file. I can also connect to old firmware configured xede with new Xmap3.2.0.13 and read RPM. What is causing the Xede to not get the RPM signal with the new firmware update?
