My Xede stays orange at idle after startup, when I blip the throttle and rpms go over 1300 light turns green and stays green. All my maps remained intact after burning new firmware. I downloaded the maps and made sure they were OK then reburned them.
Updating the firmware was a biach though. I had to use XMAP 3.0 to update firmware since non of the 3.2 versions inc. Shiv's v_16 refused to reset my Xede in boot mode. It would just stay with the dialog open waiting no matter how many times I would turn the ignition on and off. I even did the config recover thing and still no dice. Oh well after many attemps I got it upgraded with Xmap 3.0.

Hmm... firmware should update through the new xmap 3.2 just fine. There should be no need to use an older version to conduct the update. Anyone else have problem updating through 3.2? Regardless, glad to hear you guys are up and running with the new goods
