Beta testers needed for Conditional testing
Beta testers needed for Conditional testing
Hi guys,
The time has finally come. Dun dun dun. For us to release the newest XMAP and firmware version. But only to a few beta testers who are capable of providing us feedback. This new update includes, among other things, conditional functions (lean run protection, boost limits, knock limits, overboost periods, etc,.)
Here are the requirments:
1) You have to be able to update firmware
2) You can't have laptop communication issues
3) You need to be willing to deal with new and unexpected bugs (from us? come on now...)
4) You need have SMART and also be reasonably fluent in how it works. That is, the flow of logic through all the tables.
and 5) You need to be willing to provide us feedback on what does and what doesn't work (hopefully more of the former and none of the latter of course!)
So that's it. Those who are interested can just reply in this thread with your email address. That way, we can email you a prototype XMAP and the necessary firmware update. To make things easy, we can dedicate an entire thread to feedback and support as well.
Any takers?

Does this mean we will not have these fully working for the Houston dyno day??????? This was the point of getting tuned and having all the features custom set by Shiv......

I can help. I have an upgraded turbo, water injection, and a good understanding of SMART and the XEDE.

I am planning to spend this Saturday on the Dyno (DynoDynamics) playing with different maps and cam gear settings. If you can get it to me before then then I might be able to provide some good information
-- and I am an IT consultant so firmware issues should not be a big deal
03 264 in/272 ex, XEDE Flash, SMART, Full Signature Exhaust and lots oother goodies not worth mentioning

Just recently figured out how all the map nesting works, and tuned my car with smart.
