The only reason I did not get Evoscan sooner is that I did not want to carry a lap top around in my car. But now that I have to (this is the only way to log timing with the Xede), I saw no reason not to get Evoscan. I had no illusions that Evoscan is better than the pocketlogger. It was just confirmed by using it. Afterall, it is a newer program than the age old pocketlogger.

Everyone quotes different numbers about the optimal EGT Some say keep it under 800* C, other say between 800-900* C and now you quote 930-950* C. I am lost

Keeping it under 800C would require low 10's AFR and low boost.

930-950*C was not a target, it was an estimate on what EGT you are running now.

So basically the leaner your AFR is the higher EGTs you will get everything else being equal?

Yes, leaner = hotter.

Fuel is also used to cool the cylinders. If heat was not an issue we would all tune for 14.7 AFR.

So it keeps getting better and better... that's good.

I should have my Walbro Pump from TTP Engineering early next week.

Now I'm starting to wonder about Injector Duty Cycles on the stock Injectors.
