I added comment to my post above. ^^

A good dyno session sounds like a good idea.

I was going to have the Xede tuned on a dyno with Shiv.

I'm starting to realize that the Xede seems limited.
What's the point of having two switchable MAPS
if there isn't much difference in boost levels between both MAPS.
( I don't want to have to always remove the Xede boost emulator
every time I switch MAPS ).

I would love to try a GM Map sensor with ECU+ or MAF Pro.
I might do it anyways for a while.

Also electronic boost control would seem like an exiting idea.

It's my beat on it all day long on the track tune. It is very conservative.

I'm assuming you're talking about the fact that your boost tables are almost maxed out on 91 octane? If so, there is a fix for this. Just call the folks at vishnu and say you want to run more boost on 100.

I meant that I want 23 pounds or so on one MAP while having 21
pounds on the other.

If I install the boost emulater to make the boost higher on a 100 Map,
can I tune the boost table lower on the 91 MAP ?

Can't you just remove a certain % from the boost table until you hit 21 psi? On the other map increase the boost a certain % until you hit 23 psi.

On my custom 91 octane map I was hitting 22 psi and on the custom 100 octane map I was hitting 24 psi. On some cool nights I even hit the fuel/boost cut.

So you have added more fuel to your maps? For a while you were running 11.7ish, IIRC.

Yes I think I can do that.

Ok now the default 91 Xede boost table gives me 21 sometimes 22.

The default 100 Xede boost table gives me 23 sometimes 24.
I can now hit fuel/boost cut.

My 91 map is set to 21-22 psi, and my race one is set to 28 psi.

What do you mean by "default?" Do you mean the way it was set by Shiv?

He probably has the ECU flashed to remove the boost limit.

The difference in performance between a race gas map and a pump gas map come from the following:

1. The recovery of 3-4* of timing from 6k-8k. (primary RPM range during drag race)
2. Maxing boost table to 100% increases low rpm boost spike which sometimes helps decrease high end boost drop.
3. Leaner AFR. Pump=11.5:1 Race=12.5:1
4. If you had knock race gas normally eliminates it unless you are running your turbo to hot or do not have enough intercooling.

On race gas I pick up nearly 40WHP.
