I can't get through to anyone at Vishnu or get a phone call returned. I have an older Xede tuned by MAc Motorsports and I don't know whether I can get a Flash , which I want, or just a tune. Whatever I can get that will help the performance of my current setup (HKS 264s, -2,-2, turboback, high flow cat, Vishnu cam gears) is what I want and what I am happy to pay for. I can even get there on Sat if I have to. Can someone at Vishnu sales please return a call?

I spoke to Calvin and all is well. I am happy to provide extra licenses for ECUTek if needed as well for Shiv.

Dyno hours and pricing

Harvey is charging us $ 500.00 from 8:30 to 5:30. After that it's $ 80.00 per hour. He can stay a bit late if needed I am sure. He will charge $ 100.00 per hour on Sunday.

If every tune is on schedule, we shoud be fine with $ 700.00.
Since we are 8 participating, I would think it should be $87.50 each.
We also have to split Shiv's cost, which I have NEVER heard of before and this is my 3rd tune with Shiv in 2 years. I am not too happy about that since I'm not the richest man on earth. This is definitely my last tune.....

I agree. The cost of the dyno is one thing, but adding in travel and hotel for Shiv was an unanticipated cost that wasn't mentioned before yesterday. And are we supposed to show up on Saturday or Sunday now?

Sigfrid, unfortunately, things on dynos happen on schedule about 5 percent of the time. Therefore, let us all try and get this as ready as possible.

I wrongly assumed that dyno rental was being collected to make the process simpler for you folks. I was hoping that HHG or Vishnu would collect the pre-payment. The quote is for a lump sum pre payment.

For now, I will take charge of the pre payment for dyno rental. I assume that all of you can pm me with a valid credit card number, expiration date, your address, your name, security number on the card, a contact phone number. I will charge 87.50 per person, and hopefully everyone will pay. You can pay on Saturday

You will each receive a receipt in the mail with dyno sheets containing boost, tq, hp, and afrs.

I am simply trying to keep it simple and quick and make for a great dyno day for all. Payments can be credit, cash, or check with valid ID.

That way you pay once, leave your card on deposit for splitting overtime and no-shows. Otherwise we will have the last guy on the day paying an unfair amount. I will post the total time and breakdown of shares on Monday here.

I can also then be available to help strap the cars down instead of doing paperwork for each individual and then helping. It is not safe to let you strap your own car down, our dyno dynamics is slightly different from others I have seen, and I am sure Shiv can be getting the car prepared as well while I strap em down.

Please everyone check your oil and air up all tires to 40 psi. This will give everyone a nice even playing field to compare your numbers. Also make sure you remove your little center panel (the one with real screws on it) so we can get to the hook there and keep the car centered on the dyno, we charge 15 dollars to remove and replace that thing. There are a few seats, but if it gets noxious, I will air out the building, so dress warm.

If I can think of anything to simplify this or reduce your cost I will post up. I will also post a list of dyno paid folks tomorrow morning and revise it at 5:30 pm, which is also the cutoff for pre-payment.

Sounds good Harvey. I'll show up on Saturday with the hope of getting on the dyno towards the end of the day (I imagine the same for Donour). If we have to spill over to Sunday, I'll be there at 0800.

Hi everyone. Due to server problems here, I am going to waive any extra fees or anything. Just show up and pay, or pre-pay, I don't mind. I may even have some help there. I have cleared it with the boss and we can just charge the 87.50 per customer, no worries, no hurries. I spoke to Shiv and all is set on our end.

Alright. Sounds like it's all come together. Can somebody post the final schedule and the address of the place?

I'm pumped.

Ill take the spot after Ruzs on Sat. If that will keep the dyno cost down.

JTB is pretty flexible with what time he wants, you can take 11am if you need bigmac.

All times are GMT -7. The time now is 03:17 AM.
