Brett or Shiv WTF

First time Poster. Called and ordered stage 1 sig.ser. on Monday
Nov 10, at 2p.m. est. I talked to Brett, very nice, very personable.
Was told they would ship parts they had in middle of week. Exedes would be in Tuesday. Saturday came no parts.
Called Tuesday talked to Brett, exhaust fabricator was working on Stage 2. Fabricator would start on exhaust later in week. Exedes would be in Tuesday. (Huh)
Called Tuesday 25, talked to Brett said fabricator hurt his back, hopefully would be back to work soon (altogether now) Exedes would be in Tuesday (see a pattern)
Called Sat 29, left message, message said would call back in 36 hours. No call back!
Called Monday Dec 1, exhaust man back to work soon came in to pick up check. Exedes would be in soon middle of week.
P.M. Brett Saturday Night, First time maybe did it wrong no answer.
Called to night Dec 8, 6:10 est answering machine pick up, would call back 36 hrs (haha) did not leave a message.
Been reading posts for 7 months as guest then member. I like everything I have read about Vishnu. Just feel service alittle shakey. Was under impression that orders would be handled in a timely manor by reading the threads. Brett very Nice and Polite. Anybody else have this kind of problem?

Exceed is spelled like so...

...and sorry to hear about it, are they backed up on orders? I'm sure they have a good reason.

What? "Xede" is spelt like so...
This is not typical of Vishnu...I ordered some parts on a Tuesday evening and they where at my door on the Friday of the same week...I am sure there is a rational explanation for the delay..I would keep trying

You need to call, I got the xede, cams, cam gears, and turbo back in a week. Most of the stuff I got in 2-3 days. The exhaust was shipped out Thur and I got it today. Very good service. MUCH better then it was.

Re: Brett or Shiv WTF

I did several months ago and Canceled my order. This time around was great. You need to stay on the phone with him and hold while they box it up or something. Sometimes stuff falls through the cracks but it should not be this bad. Let us know how it turns out.

Here's the problem we've been having with XEDE delivery. We get as many as Chiptorque can make. Which means that every shipment, we usually have enough to go around and to fill orders. The problem we've been having for the last couple of months is that old XEDE users have been sending their pre-boost control XEDEs in for replacement (for new updated units). This takes away from the XEDEs we can ship out to new customers. As far as I can tell, we're close to updating all the old school XEDEs which means that all of our new XEDE deliveries are going to go to new customers, which is a good thing. As for signature exhaust system, our fabricator is indeed injured and our production abilities have been limited. This is why we offer non-signature exhausts which are currently in stock.

I'm sorry for the delays in parts delivery. For most orders, our back order is pretty minimal as others can attest to. But there is always a few orders which, due to unforseen issues, take a bit extra time to be filled.

Regards,
Shiv

Man, I was in the exact same boat as you just about 10 days ago. I'm not trying rub it in or anything, but I ordered mine at about the same time and my complete order was filled in less than three weeks. BE PATIENT! You will not be disappointed. I ordered the exact same setup as you and you will not believe the difference. On the way home tonight from work I was doing a little high speed stuff on a completely wide open stretch of freeway and I was able to hit 140 so frickin' fast that it made me yell out loud. It was still PUSHING me! No ****! The gains amazingly obvious AND I haven't even installed the cam gears yet. I am not one of Shiv's buddies (but would buy him a beer anytime) and I have only talked to Brett once on the phone to get him to send me a gasket. Hang tight buddy and keep it positive. That way, when you join the team it will be with great karmic payback. I feel for you! Just hang in there. Quiz: Have any of you even figured out who Vishnu is????
