Hey everyone I have a built motor with a Twin Turbo kit currently have NOS/NX nitrous kit spraying through the intercooler but I want more power does anyone have any insite on what kit to buy, and if it will work good, it needs to be failsafe thanks. I want to run 18 psi on pump, im currently at 11 psi on pump and 18 on C16. I was looking at Aquamist. thanks

SMC should be havin a new kit out sometime..I'd go with them, Snow performance has a failsafe system also.. It all depends on how much money you're looking to spend..

 

Money does not matter, I am willing to spend anything so that I can run lots more boost while being safe. If it has a failsafe and works perfectly ie giving me the comfort to just forget about it untill i need to refill it and it keeps me from running C-16 than I will spend anything.

For a true flow monitoring (in terms of ml/min), which is by far a most reliable indication on whether your combustion recieves methanol, you are left with two options aquamist and snowperformance.

Both require somewhat of skill for a quality install. Personally I like snowperformance due to price.

SMC is good for a "snap together fit on evo applications but do not provide enough failsafe technology for me to personally use it. Thats just me, good product for quick power

 

The Aquamist DDS3 would be the failsafe to go with. It uses a turbine flow sensor and the electronics allow you to set a "safe operating window", outside of the window ie. clogged jet, break in the pressurised line, can be made to trigger a fast acting valve to divert all boost to/away from the wastegate depending on your setup OR/AND if you run a ECU capable of using the signal from the DDS3, +fuel/-timing to keep the car safe. Pete, you prolly have 2 times the amount of cylinders compared to us, might be a good idea to look into direct port too......to make sure all cylinders get a even amount of r-oh/water

 

really direct port never heard or thought about that what kits are dirfect port, also do you think that this will be very benifical ie worth all the money it will cost.

Pete, it will not cost a lot more for direct port WAI. Most manifolds are aluminum, its pretty easy to drill and tap 8 holes for 8 jets. its more the peace of mind knowing that each cylinder gets the same amount of antidetonant.......

 

is the flow sensor that snow uses based on a turbine, or a reed switch....?
