abner, you deserved what's coming to you, in the nicest way!!! Well done. I have problem downloading the video, will you be able to email the DDS3 clip to me via email attachment?

How much methanol did you used up on the session?

Richard, you got mail.

At peak torque, volumetric ratio of 93 octane gas to methanol is ~ 1:1

used up 0.45 gallon methanol for tune

nice...fire is great isn't, it always shocks the people behind you when a 6-12 flame comes out after letting off the gas...

Wow, good job! Doesn't it feels good to see some nice results after you put a lot of hard work in a project? Now take it to the dragstrip and have some fun!! Joe.

Abner, you were wise not to go for a pump speed controlled system. Here is a recent log with a DDS3 sensor on a "progressive pump speed system" It refleced the video posted earlier:

http://s8.photobucket.com/albums/a32...3092006011.flv

1- 4th gear pre-turbo ramp
2- Passed the wastergate
3- Throttle shut (avoid hitting the car in front) meth continues to flow
4- Threttle re-applied (controller never pick this event up)
5- End of run, meth continues to flow.

from the data shown, a good analogy for progressive pump speed systems would be like taking a swing at a fly with a sledgehammer(pump rotor) is too massive to react to transient change thus injecting too little when needed and too much when not needed

How does the system cut boost on a fault event? I've looked at the DD3v8 manual and I see the pin outs, but it looks like you need additional parts -- like a solenoid of some sort to send pressure to the wastegate.

Thanks,
Rich

yep, a solenoid valve to send pressure to open up the WG. 2 very good valves:
either the aquamist part # 806-234 or the mac series 36 valves
