Like your self ..I have a ton of gauges that and I monitor everything.





wideband o2
oil pressure
boost
fuel pressure
dual exhaust

and with my standalone software I monitor

water temp
ignition timing
etc



I 'm sure you monitor the same things as well ~ so this is not new to you.



12.5 afr is perfect for race gas ...not pump gas ..and not pump gas on methyl injection. 12.8 and 13.2 afr is too lean on race gas from my personal experience. The occassional pull will be fine. Take those lean ratios on a very hot day or at a track event and the heat soak will have a tremendous affect. Turbo Engines tend to go "bombs away" from what I have seen.


I could comment more but ~ I guess it really boils down to tuning preferences and safety *** shrug ***

What I do know is that tuning principles don't change from one car to another and that I have logged many miles on my Z that has apprx 700rwhp without an engine failure ( knock on wood ).
