I have been experimenting with many different mixtures, have gotten mixed results, I would rather not say on the forum what % as I don't want people just trying it as it can be dangerous stuff...if you look on the aquamist forums Richard has some nice threads about it and what % stays in solution and what not...

why not 90% MeOH + 10%CH3NO2? Is H2O necessary?

they are all volumetric percentages right?

I was looking at some Nitromethane recently. I was unsure on how much to use, so I didnt use any. I am still interested in this stuff though. I believe one of the evo gurus has some experiance using this stuff, hopefully he will chime in with some information.

how much change in AFR did you notice going from 4 to 10% nitro?

Also you mentioned mixed results, how so?

see the crazy part is you don't see much change in afrs but it does make the car run leaner, so I would tune the car first to be a little rich and then dumb it in and go from there, mixed results were from the higher than 10% because I was running lean and it wasn't staying in solution, right now I am trying to figure out whats the lowest % I can run without sacrificing power...

yea the egts start to climb higher than norm, btw I am by no means an expert on this stuff, I made this thread to hopefully learn more about it and help other learn, all I know is what I have seen so far and I am hooked...my tranny died on me in the middle of doing pulls...I was spinning 1-3 with snow tires without nitrous which usually is only possible on nitrous for me...it was pretty wild...

Well snow performance sells nitrobooster but they don't explain the % that is in it, that you mix 8oz to 2qt and has been shown time and time again to make almost 30whp with no tuning...I can get you a hookup on some of that if you would like but its about 40 dollars a bottle, very very expensive...
