question about aquamist hfs-1 install
question about aquamist hfs-1 install
i got my kit and have started my install, not so bad ..just a few things id like to ask
ive read the instruction manual a few times now and lots of posts .
.......
2. i have a greddy profecb bc is there a way i can take a signal from that and hook it to the v8 junction box?(im confused from whay ive read is it just the ground taken from it selonid to the junction box?)
3.the red wire from the 12v-in that goes to the fuel injector on the ecu anyone ?i saw u have diagram of the 05 ecu,
4.the green trigger wire does that go on injector also on the ecu ?
the start..
will post pics of my install has i get it in

1 - the line will run any water-methanol mixture
2 - i have not installed a ebc before...but with it off, you should run WG boost. i think the solution is splitting one of the wire going to the ebc solenoid and connecting it between pin 11/12 on the dds3v8 board. Someone might want to confirm this
3 - pin #59 on the ecu
4- green trigger wire goes to pin #2 on the ecu
thanks to ttp for the ecu pinout

you have redwire with the fues from the v8 #23 +12v-in to the ecu #59???i looked on the diagram of the ecu and it didnt show 59???
and the trigger thats ran to the #2 fuel injector 1 or it dont matter?
im all installed and ready to spay some water for a test but i just dont have it tapped to the ecu yet i just wanna be 100% sure..
anyone else who has info with wireing please comment.

Depending on how map switch is perform on a third ECUs, perhaps it requires enabling a ground to active a WI MAP - in such a case, ground pin12.
Once you have establish the requirement, please post again.
Great install !!!
diagram is perfect thank you !!
just one more thing i do not have a manual boost controller can i not use that option or can i some way hook it to my greedy electronic bc ?

Most EBCs will go to wastegate pressure if you interrupt their power supply. If you splice the ground wire of your EBC through pins 11 and 12, then you should go to wastegate pressure when the DDS3 detects a fault (i.e., if the tank level is low or the flow goes outside the min/max flow parameters, then it will pin 11/12 will open and interrupt power to the EBC).
