As soon as IM done Ill put together all the pics and a simple write up. It seems stra8 forward wire to wire. Def. not as in depth of an install as the Aquamist systems in my opinion which is why I bought it(the touch-screen display too).

Nothing tricky on not mentioned at all yet, just a shortage of electrical wire if you want to run the system from the tank in the trunk.

How much would 30 feet of that meth line cost? Also do you guys have them in different colors...say RED? Looking for "quick connect" high pressure lines seems to be rare online. Fishing for a while and still havent found 1/4 quick connect lines...only 1/8 from Aquamist dealers. Any suggestions?

We only stock the line in Black, it is $0.95/foot.

Which fittings do you need?

Do not have anything right now, still need to work on that. Would a simple L bracket with mounting holes work for you, or would you like to see something else?

Where can I find that line..Home Depot? I'll continue on Sunday or during the week. I'm taking my time since the pictures are worth a thousand words. ALICEA8541...where did you mount the control box? I'm planning to get the Failsafe which means I need space for both my VCS3G controller and the Failsafe. Also where did you put the pump Solenoid? I found a nice L bracket that fits into 1 on the holes and would sit nicely attached to the topmost area on the firewall. I figure if their is enough space I can route a line from the bottom coming up on the drivers/middle area up into the pump Solenoid and into the nozzle. But Im trying to think ahead since the line also routes through the Failsafe box(I gotta buy it first(sometime this week)). Labonte MotorSports: If I was to get the failsafe does it come with the same adapter plug as the VCS3G controller? Any chance their is some kind of adapter with both female adapter so they can just plug into each other? And finally where can I get that spec meth lines? Please Advise,
I can't wait for the full blown DIY to come out. I have to admit that I really like what I've read thus far and although I don't think I can do it alone, I'll give it a shot with a friend. I'm wondering just how easy it is to tune as I usually use ECUFlash and Zeitronix.

Where would I get one of these and do you have a picture that you can post for those of us interested? Thanks.

Here is a link to the high pressure tubing that could be of use to you.

And for your quick fittings, use this link.

Anyone here have it installed on a EVO IX with the 3G controller? If so where can I tap injector for the IDC reading(yellow cable from controller). I have tried both on the 1st injector(driver side). Please HELP!!

Pure Evo: Thanks for the links!! I have most of the pics now its all about putting it together in a MS Doc and letting you guys grade me. Its nothing big. no fancy stuff like you guys have on here. The Cisco 3500 Series Bracket I did not use. I simply for a random L bracket and lined up the holes.

Has anyone done this install with the IFS 20. I'm ordering the kit tomorrow and would like to do it with the braided line but don't know if the hassle is worth it. I need to know approximately how much 4an line I'll need and what fittings.

What battery tray is that? Is it something you custom built or purchased as is and if purchased where can I find it?

You tune the car like you would tune it any other day.......only thing different is you have a fuel additive which without a tune she will be richer...

so with the meth setup you will be able to add more timing and actually prolly take some fuel away from the map as the meth will act in its place......

but once the meth is configured and installed properly you shouldnt have to mess with the meth kit no more
