well I have mine spraying at 8lbs...could make it start to spray Lil later. If I wished..do u think the reason is because it's set to early? I've ran about 2 months fine then just month in a half ago it started to act weird. Still haven't had time to check it out.

Tweaked give me an hour I'll post it up here in Lil bit.

False failsafe can also be humiliating -

Had a scion on my tail attempting to demonstrate HP, all 200 of it. I Applied the boost as it approached but only half came in . Could not pull away at 14psi and 11:1 AFR.

Alright. Thanks. I had mine setup starting at 8psi and full at 21psi and kept making gradual changes but nothing ever worked. That was probably about two months ago and I just unhooked it and have been busy to keep playing with it and figure it out. I never hooked up the LED's and I've been told by a few ppl that that's all they did and the kit miracously started working. So I'm hoping once I'm done with all this training I'll have the time to test that theory out.

If you have a voltmeter of test light (or the red LED installed on fault trigger signal) here is how to check things out.

1) Unplug Hose from Pump and Nozzle ports on IFS

2) Disconnect IFS red power wire and connect it to own power sorce, like battery, by itself

3) With no flow and power +12v trigger should go high.

4) put clean piece of tube into IFS Pump fitting and lightly blow into tube.

5) +12v trigger should go low and IFS should make a kazoo sounds as flow meter spins.

Has anyone logged the IFS 0..2V output yet?

Tried but get 0.6V noise while system is not powered (it's not an offset). Waveform while spraying doesnt fully correspond to what I thought either

My failsafe only will work if the power wire is connected to its own power source. It will not work if connecte to pump and controller. I tried multiple times.
because the failsafe is connected directly to the battery the failsafe output is on which makes the solonoid Extremely HOT. Anybody else experience this.

Also A good way to test your whole system is disconnect boost hose from manifold and connect it to a bicycle pump. run the meth fluid from output of failsafe to a container. turn on the car and pump it up til fluid comes out and make sure you hear the "click" from the solonoid( normally its 12V, flow starts then it goes to 0V) after this is confirmed, take a needle hose plyiers and crimp the tubing to stop flow and see if you hear the failsafe turn on the solonoid.
works like a charm.

well got my issue resolved...since i live about 45min from his office i deicded to just stop by and have him help me out. Turns out the ifs failsafe had a clog of some sort so it wasnt spraying at full. So the failsafe would go on after about a second or 2. Now with a brand new failsafe which dan replaced under warranty.

Dan is the man!!!

Did the unit you replaced make the "kazoo" (wheeeezzz) sound when doing the kazoo test?

As dumb as it sounds, this will confirm a quick NO/GO test for me with future ops checks.
