I forgot to answe the 12/24V converter question. It all depends on what kind of motor is used. A brushless motor requires quite complex electronics to drive it. A noisy step-up converter will not help the motor speed controller.

Holy moley! Welcome to the future. Its almost 2014! Richard, do you still have an interest in this pump? At the time I was driving a 335i and was looking for a compact pump that would be reliable and could supply an octane buffer(not fueling) for the boost/advance I planned on running. I since totalled that car but am still an enthusiast and actually plan on getting into another 335i and modding the hell out of it. I still have these pumps, one? Two? of them sitting in my garage all this time and I absolutely do not remember if I ever got back to you. I saw them there and was reading some things about methanol kits and decided to look this up. I checked my PM's and do not see any message from you about an address.

 

I have no commercial interest on this pump, but if you want me to test it for you for wmi injection usage, I am more than happy to do so. I will not pay for the shipping and testing time just to satisfy someone's curiosity or claim.

My guess would be it is not suitable for wmi application. I post a reason if anyone is interested.
