If you hit one of the parameters that trigger the failsafe the HFS - 3/5/6 can trigger boost cut. This has now been linked so that it can also cause you to switch maps to your alt map if you are using V7. If you are using ECU based boost control you can also switch to a secondary preset boost level. I simply go to boost cut for now while I am waiting for my ecu pins to come in so I can start map switching.

If you're running a simple 50/50 setup that activates over 20lbs, how would you change it to a "push button" type as explained above, or eliminate it all together? I'm not sold on meth as a good thing, but the car I'm getting already has a SMC trunk mount 50/50. On the plus side, meth will soon be cheaper than gasoline....
Something funky with the tuning numbers, too. The dyno of it I've seen says max of 332 at the wheel. 20g and all supporting mods, along with 280 i/e cams AND meth for 20-25psi range. Seems like there is either something wrong or SERIOUSLY conservative tune.

The new HFS-3v2 has a direct link output to the ECU for Tephra patch. No need to buy cable or resistor just need a socket pin,.
