Once you add in all the fees these prices are average at best...

$27,462.25 is what an RS costs you when you add everything up, as you can see that is no big deal...about invoice, which can be had at most dealers. The same applies to the other models, they throw that initial low price at you, but when you add everything up you get the real price.

HOLD UP.

Before you go adding up fee's. I bought a 2005 Evo 8 from them for $26,600. No other fee's. Shipped it from Cali to Maryland for $600. Paid tax in MD (much cheaper). So after tax, i paid $ 28K. Still very cheap. Now it did have a problem w/ the paint, that i'm sure they new when they shipped it to me. But if your local, it's a great deal.

Not an Evo owner but bought the wifes Outlander from Mark. Gave me over Blue Book value for my Lancer so I actually had more money towards the trade. Gave me $4000 under MSRP.Including T ax, License and Fees, still came in almost under $2000 under OTD. Was looking to get a used one but made me a deal on a New one so I can get the benefit of the promo of free maintenance for 100,000 miles ( this was the promo back then so dont compare to the one thats posted.) This promo was also backed by Mitsu so I dont have to go back to South Coast for maintenance coz theyre pretty far from me. Knowing I might not even go back for free maintenance, he still wanted me to get that benefit. Pretty stand up guy. After a few months, I wanted to trade in another car and requested some terms be met for us to make a deal. He listened ands said he'd call back. He did call back and said , Cant do it man, dont waste the time, youre too upside down. Other dealers will have said just come in and well work it out. Like I said, Mark tells it like it is. If your credit sucks and you get 14%, theres nothing the dealer can do. If you think you can get a better deal elswhere, go get the money first, then buy like you have cash. Its all good.

Just my .02.

Peace

I'm going by thier ad...if you have some other pricing structure for IX's please offer it...otherwise, what you paid for an '05 has nothing to do with anything

Add what up? That is what I'm asking. The prices on the first page plus destination and what else?

I hope you wrote a complaint to the BBB or any other concerning agency about that experience.
BBB is weak; they won't do a thing. Of course salesmen are nice on the phone ; ) Be sure to write down everything from here instead of just noting it mentally; and yes bring the recorder and calculator. Also; by the way; I hope you know South Coast Mitsubishi's service shop doesn't know what the f*ck they are doing. Bunch of incompetent fools...even though they are right down the street I drove to a different dealership (15 miles further) in order to utilize my free maintenance. I'm not going to reply much if not at all to this thread; just wanted to let everyone know what kind of people they are dealing with. When a dealership's local employees go onto a local forum (while at work!) to post good stories about themselves; it's pretty ridiculous. Shows how low they will go.

I see now. On the RS the price is $163 below invoice. A IX with ssl would be $628 under invoice.

You got it, and imho it would be more direct to say that up front...and reading thier whole post leads me to believe there are probably some dealer fees they throw in as well...

Someone else mentioned that as well. It would be nice if people who actually bought a car would comment.

Jason K.

I believe that you are making a mistake in representing our store in this derogatory manner. My name is Mark Mercado and I never sold you a car. From our records your car has never seen our service department. Since this post the dealership has gone through its records and do not show history of your vehicle in the South Coast Mitsubishi service department. You purchased the vehicle from our fleet department with the Out the Door Price of $32,600.00 and holding the invoice of $31,001.13. You know that we gave you a great deal.

“3. mark mercado was a jerk off also. they were just being too greedy over $25. I already shook his hand and agreed over the price and that's when abbas came over and took the keys to the evo rudely and drove it to the back lot as i was signing the papers. i left and got my evo for under 30k at miller mitsu the following day.”

This statement I do not understand? I thought you said you bought it from us?

Please stop this slander online of our company, we have many customers that have given to us great feedback about our service department and received great prices from our sales department just as you did.

If you like to know more specifics, history shows that:
12-29-04 HB Service (Alignment Issues)
3-19-05 HB Service (Oil Change)
7-30-05 HB Service (Oil Change)

We did not force you to buy the car, if there was something wrong you wouldn't have purchased it from us. About our service department, we understand that Huntington Beach is closer to your home anyway. We still appreciate that we earned your business at the time and thank you for buying a car through us. If there is anything that we can do for you in the future, don't be shy to ask us direct. We would like to work everything out and hopefully see you refer more friends and family our way.

Thank You,
Mark Mercado

We honor what we post. The deal will not be a dollar more, or a dollar less. If you find this deal to be inaccurate, do not purchase the vehicle from our store, and we will compensate for your expenses.

Thank You,

Mark

^very classy response Mark. Finally one of the few vendors who doesn't get ultra defensive when something bad is said about them and actually responds in a well thought out manner.
