two they buy the most evo in the country around 600+ so naturally they're buy in is much cheaper on new evo's than every one else. Mark is very helpful and he helped me buy my evo, even tho I never bought it from him due to trade in probs he helped me out as much as possible and anyone can expect the best from him.
You are crazy for thinking that they would bury perfectly good cars when damaged on the rail mitsu fixes them and sells them cheaper to dealerships customers are suppose to be informed and sign waivers when damaged on the truck the dealer fixes and sells as regular cars i can say this from experience since i have worked with mistubishi's since before the launch of the evolution if what you are saying was true i would own a couple of these so called burried evo's i can get whatever i want through mitsu and damaged cars are on that list belieive me when i say that they wouldn't scrap a car unless every piece of that car was unusable they could get thousands just from the engine never mind the suspension and other parts that would still be usable

Since some of you guys are so sure that they must be selling cars at a loss, why don't you tell us how much these 3 dealers are paying for their Evos? What's their real invoice cost? Also what is their dealer holdback per Evo? What are their carrying costs in monthly inventory interest per Evo? What are the manufacturer to dealer incentives this month on Evos?

You don't know? Well then shut up and just let them sell cars before they decide it's just not worth the hassles to offer these deals anymore.

Seriously. You guys are just absurd. These 3 dealers are going way out of their way to offer GREAT deals on Evos to this community. They get together and offer LOW, fixed, haggle free pricing on Evos. And in response, they get trashed on this board with silly consipiracy theories about them scamming so they can lose money on every sale. Why do they even bother at this point?
did you notice the phone #'s to these dealerships whatever they are doing they are doing it together probably under the same ownership

Guys, South Coast Mitsu rocks... Stop hating on them and give him a few days to respond. People have their own problems, he's not trying to scam you.

The dealers up here are visibly upset when you mention "a price you saw at some dealer in california!"

Hi Guys,

New GG IX MR owner from Hawaii... Sorry to hear whats going on with some ppl...

Here's my quick review for my deal:
Car was purchased at the end of July, car dropped off at DAS 8/7/06, shipped via Horizon Lines on 8/12/06....And finally arrived in Hawaii on 8/17/06...

No damage prior to and after shipping...

Much Mahalos Mark!

Well, legato and I were in the same boat, literally. lol

I picked mine up in hawaii a day after his, the 18th. which sucked for me cause mine was dropped off on 24th of july!! this fool, drops his off on the Aug. 7th and gets his 10 days later. sorry that was the hater in me coming out so its pretty much hit and miss with das, either you get your car quicker or later.

The actual car was in great condition when i recieved it, plastic wrap still on everything in the interior, which me being too excited just drove it off the dock like that. then rolled down the windows for hell to break loose with plastic making all sorts of crazy noise.

I will not lie i was definately nervous about the whole situation with other peoples cars being shipped. but i will say the transaction was pretty much smooth and problem free.

Only thing that was a pain in the *** is the lack of a installed front license plate holder. But its all gravy, the car is beautiful, the price was unbeatable. Definately happy.

thanks for the site and thanks for mark at SCM.

Anyone from these dealerships want to explain the real reason that they can do this?
Ours was absolutely perfect, inside and out. Paperwork to get it registered in Iowa was a royal pain in the ***, luckily we have an extra car to drive, but in the end it worked out.

Congrats on the rides guys... I recently got a GG IX MR from a local dealer and I'm loving it... Make sure you break her in properly and it will be a pain in the *** for 600 miles or so...
