All of my paper work is on it's way back to California (actually the paper work might not actually ship out until Monday as I got the loan taken care of on Sat). I'm getting excited. I hope to get it before all of the events in September.

UPDATE
I contacted Mac today and informed him that I got a quote to fix the hood damage. Unfortunately I was on travel last week for 3 days and was unable to get the quote until Friday. I faxed Mac a copy of the quote along with what I felt to be more than reasonable compensation for them knowingly shipping me a damaged vehicle. I have not gotten comment on my dollar figure, but I was told by Mac that he would also pay for the rental car. I will keep everyone updated.

240z...this sounds like a bush league deal if you ask me. I like the fact the everyone is complaining about scm and that mark only writes in when someone says some thing good about him. SCM is REMARKABLE!!!!!

 

That is an unfair statement. Plenty of people have replied about how Mark has gone above and beyond to help them get their cars.

Not saying the 240z didn't get a raw deal but SC is under no obligation to ship out cars to the east or anywhere for that matter. People are getting a very good deal on these cars compared to local dealers I know myself i've spoken plenty of dealers in my state and adjoining states and I've spoke to salesman telling them i'm getting this deal at another dealer and instead of tring to work with me they just said you should buy the car at the other dealer cause they're not willing to help me out at all. He could probably get a brand new hood and still save money he shouldn't have to cause he was supposed to be getting a new car. In the end if he is not satisfied with the final resolution he will be well with his rights to contact the bbb and it would eventually look bad for the dealer which i'm sure they don't want.

Mark has already replied to 240z telling him he'll work with the guy but i wouldn't expect him to reply to every post the guy makes.

hopefully 240z does get it worked out, SCM really should try to fix it quickly. I know my deal went perfectly and since then i've been getting atleast one person a day asking me where i got it from, how much, how did it go? I know i've directed atleast 5 people to SCM.

But one person who had a bad deal well spread alot more negativity than a person who had no problems and SCM will lose alot of potential customers. I believe 240z is in the right for what he's done. Yeah it may look shady to some, but he's trying everything in his power to get what was wronged, right.
