FAILED State Referee. HELP!!!

So I failed my ref appointment today. I took it to Fullerton College and they were so strict. So the details are I need to install the ''proper catalytic converter''. It also says "Must remove greddy module attached to fuel pressure regulator". I just bought my car in October and the ref pointed out that i have the GReddy EManage 3 bar pressure sensor. I also dont have a carb sticker on my AEM intake. My car was smogged the day I took it off the lot. So what the hell do I do?Take it to the dealer and tell them to put the stock intake and exhaust back on. Please leave feedback!!!

Ok so I took the car to the dealer and they gave me paperwork that states my cat is legit. So my question is if there is anybody out there in the socal area(Tustin) or around the area that can donate a stock downpipe for a couple of days so i can pass the ref. I would really appreciate anybodys help at this point.

The ref isn’t being strict at all, that happens to be the law out here. The thing that bothers me is the fact that the dealer is just jerkin’ you off, without C.A.R.B. approval, none of those mods will pass a smog check. You not only have to pass the sniffer but there is also a visual inspection. I also believe its illegal to sell a car in this state that isn’t smog legal. The dealer has no say in the issue, the state ref is the last word. Make all the necessary changes and move on.

I'm in Orange county. I have the stock dp already bolted up with stock cat, I let your borrow it, if you promise to bring it back.

that is correct, i'm a BAR licensed Smog Technician and it IS illegal to sell a car w/o a smog certificate. sale of a used car MUST have a smog certificate valid within 90 days of smog check and time of sale. it's known as "change of ownership" being that Lancer Evolutions are awd, the car does NOT have to run the ASM (Acceleration Simulation Mode) on the smog dynamometer (dyno), but instead a TSI (two-speed idle) test is performed with a sniffer in the exhaust pipe. first test at idle speed (750-1000rpm) and second test at 2500rpm.

the dealer DOES have say to sell a car that can pass emissions here in california otherwise their dealership license would be revoked for selling gross polluters for profit knowing the consumer will have to get rid of the used vehicle after 2 years. that would be FRAUD.

Thanks for adding that man, I hope the OP has come back and read this thread. I hate seeing people getting the run around from dealerships that are being less than honest. As a matter of fact, if this ordeal cost the new owner anything other than his time, he should be taking the dealership to court.
