wes if your going to get an X DO NOT BUY IT IN VEGAS... DO NOT GET IT SERVICED IN VEGAS...

I ****ing hate vegas dealerships is what im gettign at. besides the best price in the country is still south coast mitsu.

as for the tranny issues... i personally feel its nothing worse than any other car i have driven. its definetly not worse than the "notchy" i had in my 91 eclipse. The clutch is ****, but obviously your going to mod the car at least some. :P

Another reason I'm looking to get a X is that they're rumored not to come to the US for 2009 and won't make a return till 2010
Opps I forgot to ask, are you getting a GSR or MR? If GSR then that would apply but all I can say is make sure you test drive it GOOD and if you feel any "nothcyness" through any of the gears then red flag it right then and there. There is a huge thread in the X forum about this and yes some of us are still stock and under warranty but all Mitsu says about it is that "they are aware of the issue and they are looking into a solution".........this dates back to March of this year some more sooner.
Some have had pretty good results using different oil (AMSOIL MTG), which is why I might hitt up Oil Doc's deal.

HaPPy New Years... I was wondering since I already had one bad experience with a dealership out here and seems like you guys hate the dealerships out here too.. who would you guys recommend to get all my belts (timing, drive belts etc.) and drivetrain fluid changed??? Just made 70000 on New Years and feel its time to replace belts and fluid on the the EVO before anything happens Also do you guys have any idea how much or about how much would it cost to do all that work?

Cruza, if you don't have a problem with driving to get the ig maintenece services done.. goto South Coast mitsu. otherwise, suck it up and have the stealership do it.

I want to get a WW Evo X Gsr

But now I'm confused someone wants to trade me a 2003.5 Bmw M3 for my car and I'm thinking about it maybe it's the hangover or how damn sexy those M3's can be....who knows, it would be a pain in the *** trying to figure it out with how far away the guy is anyway

I know Jesse is happy

I do love my M3, but am having major turbo withdrawls. lol. That's why I'm looking to get into a 335i within the next couple of months so I can tune for more power and still have the luxury side of it. The tuning on them is coming along very nice, and with AMS in the BMW game now, it can only get better.
