We have a local warehouse here in Vegas... we don't need to pay the freight. I usually make a trip there to pick up orders so if anyone needs amsoil I can drop it off to them as well.
That is correct. I have customers where I set their orders for Pickup at the LV warehouse all the time.
In some cases though, people don't want to be bothered, they like the convenience of Big Brown Truck.
Whichever works for them.
My response was to the post where he bought from the corporate site.. That is Full Retail plus freight and tax..
Some people think that by going to the corporate site, they are saving money by "Cutting out The Middleman", not realizing that there is No Way to bypass a Dealer as All Sales go through a Dealer..
I have just been giving back an extra 5% and give a Free 6 month PC, worth $10.00, to help the people who support me.
My way of saying thanks by pulling a little bit out of my pocket.
I hope 2009 is a Good Year for all of us...

When I first ordered through the website, it gave me the option to sign up for preferred customer and also warehouse pickup. This is what I did on my very first order. You offer a good deal, if I would have seen that earlier I probably would have ordered from you in the first place.

The Brown truck driver knows me by first name
With as busy as i get during the week...and as much traveling i do...the Brown or White truck starts to look alot better.
Plus the site asks you for a Dealer's name..i used yours.
2008 was a good year for me....2009 has not happened...lets not jinks it yet.

I try to keep people from going to the corporate site as my deals are always better.
Unfortunately, unknowing people think that the corp site is the way to go. As I said before, many times they think they are cutting out the "middleman" and there is no way to do that. AMSOIL made sure that it always goes through a Dealer.
All I can do is make my offer and either hope for the best, or they at least talk to me before making that assumptive leap into the unknown.
