Las Vegas Evo's
valve cover paints
anyone here ever paint or get a new finish put on to their valve covers. ive got one that needs a new skin. its an extra one so its already off the car. so i was wondering if anyone knows a place that will do it or any advice on doing it my self. i would even like to get it painted a cusco style blue as i have other cusco parts in the engine bay and i think its a clean look that will brighten up the engine bay. thanks----

my guess is the colder weather will require a little more timing to cure the misfires. But I don't like the fact I have to have a retune everytime the weather changes. I pulled out my Aquamist system, just missing small line and the jets, maybe I will order what I need left and put it together. I do have a GM solenoid I'm going to give a try... also I like the idea of the tephra map switching. So looks like I have a lot of homework to do

switching to the tephra patch isn't too bad just some editing/copying and modifying xml file action I'm pissed at the car once again and thinking of putting a ix turbo back on and selling it / trading it for a X or something else??
There are two reasons you will have misfires, one is you could have picked up a bad batch of E85. Its happen to alot of my customers and I chased issues all over the car and couldnt figure out and the next time they filled up it was fine. The E85 attracts moister and I think sometimes there are just watery batches. This is even on some N/A Honda customer of mine too and not just boost. Second is the ignition system, it takes alot of spark to burn all that fuel. Stock even ignition systems are hit or miss, some are great and some are not. Marc, James and Archie are all running MSD-DIS2s and they work awsome with either Stock DSM coils or the Chrystler coils.
I have two evos hahaha my grey one is on the AEM and only sees C-16... The other evo is on E85 stock everything but cams, exhaust, intake, intercooler
65K service soon for me
Anyone know, a place to get some good deals on timming belt replacement kits. and a serpentine belt. im realy looking for the bare essentials not so much interested in all the pulleys or tensioners.more so the timming belt . balance, serpentine, and water pump and if their are deals on the aftermarket stuff thats even better. all for my 03 evo VIII thanks -----

Yeah. I posted earlier that I had better luck from a station that supposedly doesn't winterize their e85.
