Reno Area anybody?
No didn't make it to the track this year AGAIN. I had a few private goes before finding out that my engine need to be replaced again. Long story that boils down to bad block. Something wrong with cyl. #3.
Yeah Jer. ran the spectre 341 in June. He placed 3rd over all, but was in first at the end of the first day.

Moving to Reno soon and thinking about picking up an evo, I'll justify it by thinking I need it for the snow. How are the smog laws in NV? Been trying to read up but wondering from an enthusiast perspective, are they hardcore about mods?
they are not to bad.. I have never been pulled over for my mods .
How about when you need to smog the car for registration? Is it just tailpipe, just visual, dyno, etc? If your car is so modded it wont pass is it hard to find someone who will 'make it pass'?
I have never had any troubles getting my car done. I have no cat and 3" TBE , lopy cams etc etc...just plug in scan and done.. Shell station on Keitzke and moana...
One of the main things they are looking for is that all your smog equipment sensors are working, and reading. If you do the old clear codes and smog thing several of the time/distance reset sensors will not be reading and you will fail.

So I know a few of you on this thread have suggested Modified Auto Salon for work on our cars, however I've been trying to call the shop number located on their website and have also sent them an e-mail. Anyone know how to get a hold of these guys?
They just went out of business.
