Ok just talked to Jeremy. I'm not going to post times thats for him. I will say that he did very well again this year espacally considering what he was racing aginst in off the floor cars with lots of money in them. It was nice seeing a post about Jer. and his car on the Stillin blog area for the hill climb.
Yeah I read that he didn't make it. If people don't know who that is. If you have seen the show "Supercars Exposed" he drove the silver 996 that won the challenge they had at an airstrip.
*edit*

very tragic..the weekend was just about flawless, as far as racing goes, until the end of the last day.I didn't hear about anything at all until he went off. Basically on the long straight his wheels locked up before the turn and went off. As far as times, the 2011 viper acr was dq'd for tires which ran the fastest 3.19 driven by car and driver Magazine driver. The 2010 Zr1 corvette ran the officially fastest time of 3.21 followed by stillen's GTR of 3.22 I had the next fastest run half second quicker than friday but still in the 3.25 range.

Well it was a tragic, unfortunate and just a bizarre ending to what was a great fun filled weekend at Virginia City. I'm not going to discuss it here, but I'll provide a link to some images and info on the event. FWIW, I ran my GMC Syclone pickup truck with a best run of 3:53, not my Evo X MR.

"Keep your foot to the floor until the thrill of speed is overcome by the fear of death." And that was in play here if you have never been up this road this fast.

It should be noted that the Viper ACR was disqualified as it was running tires with an 80 tread wear rating. The rules state tires must be 100 tread wear or higher. Britt Mark Gillies from Car & Driver Magazine drove this car and from what I have been told he was faster than Michael Schumacher in a professional race in the past.
Professional race car drivers in big dollar monster rides dominated the event. ALMS GT2 and ex World Challenge driver Lou Gigliotti ended up winning in his modified ZR1 Corvette with Steve Millen taking 2nd place honors in his modified Nissan GTR.
Jeremy ended up taking 3rd in his 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution RS! He actually was leading after the 1st day. A good combination of car setup and driving talent.
