I'm reading quite a bit of good stuff on the Zeitronix unit. Are you happy with your unit nutrulz? Does the Zeitronix connect to the OBDII or is it strictly sensors you install? I currently have a GReddy EGT gauge w/ the probe on the exhaust mani. To me, it seems that the gauge is really responsive for me to catch excessive heat, but some say otherwise. What do you think? Thanks!

Zeitronix are awesome, I don't like having a ton of gauges in my car, and basically I get all my gauges in one. The boost is the most accurate you can get, EGT is really nice and responsive. If there was one problem, it would be the screen refresh rate. But, while logging the rate is super quick.

Little note for everyone in the Reno area. Allison Mitsubishi has a new service manager, and he is the worst service manager that I have ever dealt with. There will be no coverage on any modified vehicle what so ever, they may even void your warranty on site.

DO NOT GET SERVICE DONE AT ALLISON MITSUBISHI

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP

STAY AWAY.

I use to be a big fan now I'd tell you to go anywhere else.

Just order the tactrix cable and will most likely get a Jestr eflash this month. I'm still looking for a good datalogger (most likely zeitronix or LC-1), but I'm still researching this topic. Nutrulz, when I get everything and start tinkering, can you give me a hand?

Would you be down to get custom tuned at Speed Element or Vishnu in the next few weeks? If we get four cars we'll save about $200 a person!! (we already have two including myself)

I would love a Speed Element tune, but I can't leave town anytime soon. My wife is due to give birth on 12/2 and it could happen any day now.

Good luck on the tune, and maybe we can compare tunes out at Fernley or Fallon race track on the 1/4 mile when it opens up next spring

Nice!!! Now we only need one more car. I'm leaning towards Speed Element since they're getting their own Dyno Dynamics and they're a lot cheaper than Shiv. Andy seems to know his stuff, and I've seen nothing but great results on norcalevo. I don't really like the idea of running an MBC as opposed to the ECU controlled method that Shiv uses, but I'll probably need one anyway this winter to turn the boost down.

What do you think Tu, Shiv or Andy?

I spoke to Andy and they're expecting to get their dyno any day now. He said once they receive it they'll be tuning cars within a few days of setting it up. I'll let you know when we're going. Hopefully in 2-3 weeks.
