On Friday night, I went out to Fernley w/ my buddy w/ the Mazdaspeed6. We had a blast. Got there around 5:30 and stayed til about 9pm since I was going to Denver early Sat. morning. We ran about 7-8 times while there. There was only 1 other Evo, a VIII with I think he said was a GT35R or something of that sort, but on our 2nd run, he blew a head gasket. My best was 13.73 @ 103. I couldn't get a good launch because I would roll at the launch pad and would redlight. We should do a meet there next time.
Selling my:
Perrin front mount intercooler-$400 + your stock intercooler. 4k miles on it.
Jdm Monster Sport front bumper (white)- $350 (retails $999) plus your stock bumper.
Anyone?
I will be selling my car soon to my older cousin and he just wants the stock look.

Well, only 2 of my 5 runs that I didn't redlight were in the 13s, the rest in the 14s. Is the track going uphill, or is it just me? Anyways, I got my baseline, so I need to go get a tune and run again out there soon.

I can't make my mind up on getting either the Vishnu or Works to tune my car. Vishnu is probably cheaper, but Works is probably more reliable. I am willing to spend extra to get the best tune on the conservative side. What do you guys think?
My goal is to have a reliable daily driver that can run high 12's at Fernley. Do you guys think I can shave almost 1 sec off my current 1/4 mile time with just a tune from one of these vendors? I already have TBE w/ HF cat and will put on an intake, but the intake's just for sound

I'm telling you right now WORKS is a waste of your time and money. You'd be paying over $1000 for a base flash. (no custom dyno tunes from WORKS) Not to mention they are known for ultra conservative tuning that shows weak results time and again. Shiv is the man if you ask me. He tunes aggressively but more importantly he knows what he's doing and how much the car can take. He's one of very few people that I would trust my car with.
When are you going down to Vishnu Alex? And where are you getting $1k for the Works flash. All I'm seeing is the $599 for the P2. Did I miss something?
On Vishnu's website about its flash, "we’re able to achieve an incredible, dyno-proven, 100-110 flywheel horsepower gain on an otherwise stock Lancer Evolution." http://www.vishnutuning.com/sale.htm
So the tune and tbe may indeed be enough if the 80-100awhp to get that 1 sec is correct.
