Not getting an aggressive enough pad can imprint your rotors really quickly on these Brembos. I'd say the Hawks are a good do everything pad. I'd hate to see a set of rotors turned and then reduce their usable life because you have to turn them due to a cheap **** pad. Relatively speaking the aftermarket pads for the Brembos we have are actually very reasonable in terms of price.

Who owns a black evo with purple or blue wheels?

Last evening I separated a tire on southbound I-15, while I was sitting there this guy saw me from the northbound side & flipped around to see if I needed help. I just wanted to say thanks for going out of your way to see if another evo needed help.

With that said, it looks like I need tires, anybody got a hookup with discount tire?

Right now I'm leaning toward the EBC Redstuff pads. I can get a front set for 112.

I'm worried about getting the Duralast's and wearing my rotors too fast. I've read good things about the Redstuff and Yellowstuff pads. I just don't know if if I can justify that much more money for performance pads when I'm so tight on cash right now.

This is my main reason for just settling on the Duralasts for 40 bucks. I don't track the car at all and barely get on it anymore.

Did you notice a big difference compared to stock rotors and pads? Is this the setup you used for autox?
