I did get the wheels balanced twice, you think they might have missed that the rim was bent? I have the stock MR bbs wheels. Maybe it could be something else??

You should put your front wheels on the rear and see if it makes a difference I just got new tires on my stock MR wheels and they told me that my front wheel was bent just a lil but they said it was a fraction bent and so they put it on the rear and it made a difference

I've rotated them, I'm thinking it may be a bent wheel. I need straight stock wheels damn!!

Explain in detail what's happening or happened again? Fast, Slow, Braking, Not-Braking, need to be very specific in what you feel both in the car, at the steering wheel, or on the brake pedal, road surface(s).

It could be tire, wheel, half-shaft, bearing, or a few other things. Hopefully we can point you in the right direction.

Well, the steering wheel has a "shimmy" at 60+ mph ( Not a very violent shimmy) so it feels like i'm all over the road. That's all I feel. It did "feel" a little bit better after the balancing twice! but it's still there, bent wheel?? I wish I had a spare set to test out!

My evo is on stands, I'd let you use my wheels and tires for a test. Located in west valley.

I've got a bent wheel also ... actually a flared lip, its pretty easy to spot, but no balance issues. Unless the rim was manufactured wrong I doubt its bent, unless you can see a pretty good tweak to it. Also I'd scuff up your hubs if they have a bit of rust on them. If the wheel is installing itself on "crooked" the tread pattern could be causing the shimmy.

My guesses (and that's not worth much) after balancing like you did, wheel bearings, or steering ball joint. Both are easy to replace. I'd opt for a set of Autozone Timkins bearings. When you get to the part where you extract the bearing hub combo, it'll probably be rusted in. Twist it sideways about 15+ degrees and run the bolt in backwards and it'll press itself out.

put your hand flat on the tread & drag it in different directions, you will feel it...ACD likes to cup tires if they are not rotated enough.
