the other day i decided i wanted to "just" remove some extra wiring i'm not using anymore. well, that has turned into a full harness tear down. should be nice when it's done, if it works still.

this is what i pulled out from BEHIND the front seats (towards the back of the car) before i even opened up the dash.

hidden under the dash. a majority of this wiring should go.

interior harness pulled out. started removing all the tape, clips, and looming.

i fell asleep on the floor last night about this far.

need to finish unwrapping the interior harness, trace everything i know/think/hope i can remove. de-pin from the fuse box or ecu, depending on what goes where. clean it all up and make a nice clean skinny harness. then on to the engine bay. i'm sure i'll end up wire tucking it and moving the fuse box/battery inside. OCD FTW.

Haha come on D this is cake walk compared to you engineering books you read for school

Haha I think that would be easier than building a new harness from scratch tho.

I was driving into work this morning and just as I was turning into the parking lot the car stalled.
Now it will not idle without stalling, I can start it and as long as I feed it a little gas it runs. I checked the IC piping and it seems fine. Anyone have any suggestions?

Checked all the IC piping seems ok. I stated it up again and it Idled for about a minute then when I revved it it died again. I don't know where the idle air control motor is.

No, It is on your throttle body. Gearhead has replaced many of these and helped some one here diagnose it.

Here are some links for some pics, it is on the bottom of your throttle body.

That sounds like an ISCV problem, try to find one used...new they are about $350-400.

It's a small black knob with 3 screws mounted low the throttle body.
