Hawaii - what to check out Evo wise??

Hey all,
heading to Hawaii for holiday next week from Aus. Wondering if there are any places i might be able to check out for Evo related parts bargains (before our dollar plummets further!!) discretely whist the wife is shopping hehe. Would have loved to go Mainland but not enough time to make worthwhile for now.

In particular i'm looking at the the rear diff - interested in the TRE diffs if any one would happen to stock them + moustache bar and rear axles.

Front diff Wavetrac

5 speed box, once again the TRE strengthened units appeal. Doubtful on these but wishlist doesn't hurt. Will none the less consider just the bits for a non ayc rear end and maybe chase diff internals later.

Also chasing good quality 5 point harness (new) - Not necearrily Evo related.

Thanks.

I would not imagine the shops in Hawaii having anything in stock, also you probably could get better deals talking to vendors online than those in Hawaii...
The ones I dealt with alway give me long lead times.

Youre better off dealing in the mainland if you are looking for those parts.
Majority of the shops here have to special order parts all the time and they are very expensive when they do that.
They only stock certain parts that would usually fall under routine maintenance.
Even then, some of those routine maintenance parts arent even stocked.
Like the post above said, you are better dealing with people on the forums or in the mainland instead of here in Hawaii.
Im getting some parts as well and I did ask the local shops for price quotes, but they either found it a waste of time to dig up the information knowing I might not buy the part to begin with, or they would give me outrageous price quotes.
Since we have to ship everything here, its not surprising to get high shipping charges included in the quotes, but sometimes its just too much.

Thanks for the replies. Was kind of expecting that to be the case but thought it'd be worth a try. You guys must be pretty dedicated then or do a bit of travel to the mainland your self. Ah well. Guess the wife will have room in the suitcases on the way back then rather than having half a drivetrain in them. Cheers
