i just did mine, i passed on the second try because i had to drive it around more after the initial attempt. just take it down to your local smog shop

 

after last year lots of smog shops in sacramento area got shut down. because of smog. if you don't know people personally, don't count on it happening.
best bet would be to keep all factory parts and ecu for smog.

 

Just ask around and you might get lucky. LA has many places that can help you.

 

How modded are you?

I have full bolt-on's and a tune and pass no problem. Both visually and sniffer/exhaust levels.

 

It was rough getting through here in Portland, but after my car was re-tuned it went good.

 

sorry so late but at the time all i had was an ebay factory looking 3 inch exhaust with a test pipe. but i eventually paid $250 for a cat install. guess you could say im good now. test pipe back on. cat for smog only. thanks all.
