Anyway, yesterday was pretty tight and full of Evo nostalgia: Got to ride in Riley's Evo which felt great, w/ a nice 4g63 note... Then later I got to ride in Rocky's Evo X, and holy crap, I didn't even drive and I could tell the difference. I could write a full review, but it'd be stupid since all I did was ride in it

 

So was that difference good or bad

But yes, the car is completely stock as far as I can tell. One thing I did notice was that the clamp is missing from the cold side of the turbo. So the previous owner most likely put everything back to stock before they got rid of it.

Anyways I'll let everyone know how it goes.

 

Good. I didn't drive it, but it didn't feel that much heavier or slower on the accel to me... Course, I've been driving around a slow Porsche I could tell it was heavier, and a little slower on acceleration, but not enough to matter. Especially with the tunes pulling out the sort of power they are. I honestly like the Xs a lot, if they weren't backed by Mitsu I'd consider going back to one... I didn't like the looks, but after seeing enough of them in person, it grew on me... My biggest complaint is just that I LOVE the Xs competitor... Whereas before, I hated it. If I was filthy rich and could buy new cars and sell old ones all the time, I'd probably be in a red '08 STi right now... Okay, probably not...

I LOVE the '08 STis... and nothing would make me happier than kicking the **** out of some Evos in one... With a full set of IKEA furniture in the back Wagons FTW!

A3 2.0T quattro is gonna be tight though...

We need more fast cool wagons here in the states. They're so handy!

PS, the STi totally gets worse gas mileage city and freeway than the Porsche Smaller boxer motors FTL!

EDIT 2: The WRX even gets worse freeway mileage than I do!!! Lightweight, aerodynamic cars ftw!

haha **** I don't know how to get those kind of muffins I like that new A3 and the s4 advant is pretty cool. Audi did a good job on the new front designs I like the style

A3 2.0t quattro is gonna be sick. I test drove a 2.0t and a 3.2 s-line quattro back when I was looking around. The 2.0t with quattro, a tune... and a few other mods to bump its power up... That'd be one fine dd. The avant is cool too, especially the new one (A4 and S4), never heard of the advant though...

The A5 and the S5 are pretty nice too. I'm gonna go test drive them when I take the TT in for service... I wonder if I would've gotten the A5 instead... Okay, probably not But they are pretty cool cars.
