ya so was I. I will admit that I was expecting better too. and I am not the best of drag race drivers. this was my 2nd time ever (1st in this car) and the car is ment for more of a miller area the car was not running the best ether and I was pist off about that. it was missing and only got worse on the way home.
I did a compression test before I left today and low compression in 3 of the 4 cylenders so not the best of news. I will just run with it for now until it goes or the snow start to fall. and Lake Powel for the win

 

the car should have ran a low 13 hight 12 with it on the pump gas and 20 psi. and a better driver my best 60' was a 2.0 so not good and best reaction time was a .420 so okay. I also needed to retune the car before I got there and didn't get around to it. maybe next year I will have a car ment for the drags. and is the blue Ams Evo that was there last night anyone on here? I didn't get a chance to talk to him and didn't get to see what he had done or what he ran.

no I don't think it was that one. it was one of the last cars to run. is was a ams build motor or something with a 35R on it. I heard it was fast but didn't get to see it.

Yeah I'd like to know who that was in the blue evo also. It ran an 11.3ish if I remember correctly on its last run. There was only 50 people left in the stands when it went so most people probably missed its best run.

had a lot of wheelspin and got it all figured out..lowered 2step to 5750 gotta preload the launch, shift at 7000-7200 and next time will flat foot it

**** saturday we also pulled my friend Steve's head, dropped oil pan and took out pistons...spun bearing in 1st & 4th cylinder. ****ty he helps me drop my motor in now were going to have to put one in his. Steve's best time was 11.3 with his 18" and huge rotora big brake kit. 35r stock block 511awhp and driver mod

 

The 14.5 Evo was me. All I have is exhaust though so I was pretty pleased. I'm not a drag guy but I enjoy doing it every now and again. the other Blue Evo was fast. I talked to the guy. He is on the forums but doesn't get on this thread. I forget his screen name. He has the AMS 35R kit with an AEM EMS tuned by English out of Spokane. Seemed like a cool guy. Pretty fast car (especially since it's 4200' above seal level). Over all a fun night.

chuck dude ouch...I remember just an exhaust I ran 13.4 2stepping at 5500 shifting before 7000 rpms haha and I shifted into 5th gear. You didn't shift into 5th gear did you??

The whole point Chuck is trying to make is that he could be faster than you on track Wes, simply because he's had instruction by me Well, that, and because he has a spoiler

and jake I was tearing out half of a evo motor again, my friend steve that helped me with mine has spun bearing cyl 1 & 4 so we gonna have to drop another motor. 511awhp with his stock block & 35r and I'm trying to talk him into the 2.3 & built head I was going to buy if he does that whoa omg ****ing siiiiiiiiiiick

 

11s for the win! Don't eat anything for a week before, and take out all your interior you can easily. And fix that dent in the roof You'll hit 11s for sure!
