Gotta complete a circuit for current to flow, and touching just one wire completes one, but since it isn't the quickest route to ground it just ignores it. 
Physics FTW.21. It's a bar. And if it's Huka Bar (the one by Fashion Place) they're REALLY thorough and strict with checking IDs... My friend got her "fake" taken from her there this past weekend, she's been using it for over 2 years at all sorts of other places.

Met up with some of the UT county NASIOC people tonight (apparently you were supposed to show up Dallin!) pretty decent crowd, a lot of them commented on the tails
Dunno whether it was serious or not but one even asked if I got them done or they came that way.

In time my gf and I will have are downstairs finished at our new home and everyone is invitited to come over and get sh!tfaced big backyard too!
