Yup, pretty much! The zeitronix I have lets you set the narrowband "switching point", so I have it set so the car thinks it's running 14.7:1 when it's actually at 15.2:1 for better fuel economy.

I don't think I kept the front heater circuit though, I'm pretty sure I disabled it in the ECU, but it's been a loooong time since I did it I just know the front o2 isn't hooked to the ecu anymore...

All the other times I've been pulled over, which isn't many, they never metioned anything. HP was just being a dick!
That's good news then!

Yep, it will. And with a programmable output on your wideband, you can have the ECU run leaner under closed loop, which is not possible with a narrowband sensor which only knows how to identify 14.7 AFR. Some people target as lean as 16:1 for fuel economy.

I have my wideband in the stock rear o2 spot and the stock o2 is removed. I also have the wideband fed into the ECU in place of the front o2 sensor so I can cruise around with the car a bit leaner than stock
do you have to re-pin the Ecu?

No you just splice in the narrowband output of the wideband.
