Vesko's expecting you to stop by in the early afternoon tomorrow. Remind him to look at my car for front aero estimate.

Looks like I've already sold my Volk TE37s for more than what the new wheels will cost. The CE28s are going to become my street wheels once again.
Hahah, you mean your "running the car to the shops" and "driving out to the track" wheels? I started a post asking for bids on my stock rims, anyone on here local looking for a set of stock rims?

We're doing it in order to use take-off slicks. Same as he got, NTO3+Ms, they're what Vesko recommends. I'm taking the Honda to his shop to get sized today.

Take off slicks? Are those tires used by race teams? NTO3+Ms are a nice wheel, are you going up to a 17x9?

Yes, they are tires used by race teams. They usually have 80% tire life left.
Take off slicks are not available in 17s. That's why we need to get new wheels. Most likely 18x9.5 or 18x10 depending on what is available in the right offsets.

Given how much time we're spending at the track ... it will be half as expensive to run take off slicks vs the Kumho 710s we've been running. With this approach, Jake and I will also be running the same sized tires all around, so it will be easier to have a backup or two around for when Jake cords his tires.

Same here he was saying go 18 x 9.5 but I want a different look for a wheel really

They looked pretty good on the one car in his garage though

I don't care if they're pink rimmed with pastel blue spokes ... as long as they help me go faster! Hmmmm ... I think I'd like that combo.

So are there other rims that will work instead of those for your car?

not a big fan of those wheels. They are light but IMO ugly.

Yes, but nothing as inexpensive as those. My guess is it will be CCWs.
