Jeremy, if you need a place to stay when you're down this way, there are three extra bedrooms in my place. You may have to share them with some car parts, and it's not exactly the Radison (Like the Old Douche Bag's place) but you're definately welcome.
Thanks Rob, I will PM you.

Hey guys,

I picked up some all season tires and I am looking to get them installed, balanced, and possibly pick up an alignment while I'm at it. I checked with Wheel Werks (I had Ray do it last time, but that was a while ago) and they said they couldn't do alignments right now.

So...anyone know of a good place I can go to get it all done - specifically the alignment?

Thanks,

Other Zach

I've had good luck with the Firestone down by Fashion Place mall. $159 bucks (I think) will get you unlimited lifetime alignment. I've used that a LOT.

^^I may try that. Good luck as in their technicians know what they're doing? I've used a Firestone down here, but their old manager took off and I've been a bit suspect of their work since then. Unlimited lifetime sounds good though, I'll give the Fashion Place one a call.

The PDX track day yesterday 9/9 was awesome. It was nice to see a good turn out from all the evolutions, I counted four. I didn't think I'd have that much fun on the full track being so long but I think I learned alot how to push the car a lot harder. Next time maybe we will see even more evo's out there!

Yeah I got those figured out and got the final curve onto the main straight more figured out, did a pull up to 145. Decreasing radius still owns me though.

Kudos on the excellent run! Of course we care.

Did I mention I got down to a 3:18.89 on the full course at MMP?

Jeremy, I can help you with the decreasing radius turns. We should do a lead follow at the next event with Jake, you and me. We can work up to speed gradually.

Skip Skip Barber at LVMS. That track is so, so. The Spring Mountain Advanced Driving school (Corvettes or Radicals) is probably a better track. Skip Barber will be at the MMP track again here in Utah next spring. I took their 3-day advanced driving school here in July. Excellent school and driving the formula dodges is a blast.

For the money, you'll probably learn more with a combination of reading and spending the cash on more track time. $3,995 will buy you a lot of seat time. The Skip Barber Going Faster book contains all the same concepts they teach at the school. What's not included is the excellent feedback from the instructors watching you on every corner and giving you input on what you're doing right and wrong ... and of course all the seat time in the formula dodge.
