Hey boys! Just an update on my Evo...I got the 60k maintenance done as well and the tsb for the heater temp knob. That knob is smooth as ice now! Hellz yeah! No more reachin under the dash! I'm also getting a clear bra from Autobahn today. Anyone have any experience with them? Ive seen some of their work, and it looks great to me. Also, I was wondering, I have my car tuned by Cobb...and I understand the whole point of tuning, but DANG, it runs soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better tuned than with the stock tune on it! Its night and day! Anyone else have that experience?

 

did u have the dealer do the 60k maitanence? if so how much was it?

Yep, I actually sent it to Pocatello cuz my friend's brother works there. I got a discount for doing the tsb and the 60k together. The Mitsu Dealership up there is FAR cheaper than ANY of the Dealerships in Utah. Total I paid $1300 for both. I think the 60k was $900. The next cheapest dealer for both items was around $1800. They were shocked the Utah Mitsu's charged that much.

 

You paid 900 for your 60k? WTF did they do?

And places are making you pay for TSBs? I never paid for a TSB on the Evo, our Audi, or the Porsche... and the Porsche is like 10 years old.

Its a TSB...not a safety recall...if the car isn't under warranty, Mitsu won't fix it unless its a safety issue.

For the 60k, I got everything done...fluids, tranny work, differentials, belts, spark plugs, injectors, valves adjusted, etc. Its purrrrrs like a kitty now!
