well i took the manifold off and blasted it all down and had a buddy at work reweld it, now i jus got a gasket leak, but for some reason at about 5500 rpms it starts to bog, idk if its a boost leak or what? do you know what all he had done to it by chance? im not real familiar with engines in general let alone the beautiful 4g63 that we all have tho privilage to own

What i know is we retuned it back to a stock tune that is slightly more aggressive. Your car doesnt build over 7psi last we checked due to a bad wastegate or a bad turbo.
Do you have a boost gauge? I know a bit about that car. It has a leak on the oil return line on the oil pan. Needs to be hela coiled.
I am in ogden i know some about that car. Its alot of noise and not a lot of go anymore.
you should have someone look at the tune and see what size injectors your runnin cause if i remember right you have a 30r turbo on there so you might need bigger injectors and a tune.mine does the same thing but i know for sure i have a boost leak cause i can still hear mine but im gonna order a new intercooler and make ny own intercooler pipping. you can do a boost leak test and see where your leak is but if you have a gasket leak i would fix that first. do you know which gasket it is?
I didnt do a thing, auction direct sells POS cars and everyone knows it. That car was a total peice but hey maybe it works good now? I dont know.
We never found out what injectors were on that car. They ARENT stock though.
Good thiing you got said manifold worked out cause that was a custom mani out of Southern Florida from a company no longer in business. I did some research a while ago on them and their manis. Not a bad product but that thing for sure has been rewelded.
The rotor on the passenger side needs to be replaced. Wes may have a set you can pick up for cheap.

so i found a whole new header that im going to get because mine is a custom made one from whoever had it before and i just rewelded the whole thing, i dont even know how i was producing any boost at all with all the holes but anyways, dont know if the car is even tuned so if anyone would be willing to help it'd be much appreciated

Thats who tunes most of our Evosbobby and jason thanks for welding up that whole in my intercooler seems to be holding. now i need to weld the crack in my manifold but thats something that i can do on my own. im gonna get a hold of nate and see when we can set up a time early enough to get my tune going and to log my car when we install my injectors..... once again thanks for all the help.

Hey guys anyone in the Ogden area can hook me up and check out my car. I took off for about 4 months and my car just sat in my garage for the most part of it and now when i am on the gas it seems to jerk. I am new to the evo world.
