Evo has been in the shop now for a month... Driving a 1989 landcruiser... Water pump went out Monday... and the alternator went out in my driveway 20 min ago. So if you see anyone sliding around on bald tires in an unregistered 1991 alfa romeo 164L over the next two days good chance its me.
God I can't wait to get the evo out of the shop!
P.S. the Alfa is for sale. PM if interested 2500$ OBO, sweet engine too and new tires soon.

Whats up guys Im looking at getting my Concealed permit and trying to get a group of 10 or more. If anyone has wanted to do this you know it cost some money. So if you have a group of 10 or more you can get this guy to come to you for cheap, and get it all done in 2 hours. So let me know if your interested, I have some already and we are looking at doing it here soon

I would love to do that, but don't you have to be 21 or older?

They're lots of fun, and 20 bucks is cheap. I'd recommend that or a wintercross (run the same way, just during the winter, and they don't clean the track) for your first time out. They force you to go a little slower than you normally could (by creating more turns and such with those cones) but you get a feel for the track and speeds still.

And yeah, cool video, good find!

Aaaand, drum roll... Not gonna promise, but I know I'll have decent summer tires on by then... So there's a good chance I'll make it out if finances allow for it.

Utah is becoming Alabama... I've got my weapons, and they're not even concealed. How many people do you have already and how much is it? This reminds me of that quote from... I can't remember who... some country's leader that said he would never invade America because there'd be a gun in every hand. Or something like that...

So I called on the Wintercross and they said it is $60 Bucks. I swear last year it was only $20. Can anyone confirm this? Oh and they said the track is all dry so it will be a good day on Saturday. Oh Wes I got to ride in the Falken 86 drift car. It was sick.

I'm pretty sure it has always been 50-60 bucks. WoW is the only event I've been to out there that is as cheap as $20.

I wish I didn't have snow tires on... Then I'd come out. On a dry track that rubber would get torn to shreds.

Okay that makes sense. I think when I was there they did it for $20 if you went early and helped them set up the course.

Jake was that you walking in the background while they were interviewing that guy? My favorite is the guy with the 3000gt. You would have think he owned a Ferrari.

^^
Funny thing about the guy with the 3000GT, I met him at the last WOW event and he didn't know what an Evo was until he saw my car. I was in my X, but I showed him the last generation Evo's and his first question was, "did you guys all get together and buy brembo brakes and recaro seats or something"? I explained to him that they all came out of the factory that way and that they were turbo, and all wheel drive. He was in total awe at that point. He goes back into his car, grabs a pen and scratch paper and writes down "so you said these were what? eebos"? Funny but he is a good guy. Sure he'll be an Evo owner soon.

Hopefully it was a VR-4 at least. He seemed like a nice enough guy though.
