Utah Evos
600whp = over 130mph traps with the ****tiest of driving. 106mph traps equal 330whp.
There are no dyno sheets or time slips to back up anything that has been said.
40psi on a gt30 equals trying to suck a fresh milkshake through a straw.
And this is not sea level so a stock turbo can maybe break 400 up here........Maybe.

he didnt claim in the upper 600s anyway. the car is said to be making over 600. approximations have been up to 640. 35whp is a lot when it comes to making power out of a small frame turbo that is normally out of its efficiency range at the top part of 30+psi. like jason was saying, he has regained his air density by dropping his intake/charge temps. his turbo only has to make the boost and the air charge will aid the power potential. even if he did only make like 601awhp, would you still ***** or dispute the whp figures. like so many people have said in the past that make great to phenomenal power "hp matters on the track, not the dyno" so pulling 3 cars on a 10sec mustang before the 330 should put things into perspective for you not to be so sceptical. ya dig?
How big of a turbo do you think F1 used in 1988~89 1.5L motor 80psi boost and Toulene for fuel, 1500+hp.
I'm not saying i know everything about turbo's but i have been working and playing with them for over 20yrs. Most people buy a kit and run pump gas and 20lbs of boost and then say this turbo sucks and they're not even in the sweet spot, I like medium sized turbos, less lag, then i use tricks i've learned over the decades to optimise my setup's. My old MR2 put out 550hp went through 9 different turbos and broke all kinds of ****, and only ran a 12.2 spining through most of the 1/4. My Evo weights in at over 150+ lbs more than a regular MR, because of all the suede, DVD player, air/water intercooler, nitrous (for making my own ice) and i weigh 280lbs not some light weight car. If i wanted to build a drag car i wouldn't build an Evo (i would build another Yoshimura Superbike/carbon fiber Hayabusa) This is my family car, something to keep my mind busy, I honestly don't care if you believe me or not. There are plenty of Turbo and Supercharged Cobra's, Supra and GSX-R1000 that know what my tail lights look like! Weston if you want to chime in on what she pulls like on top end, feel free. 189mph on three different occasions, on GPS.

That will be a great setup. I can't wait for your car to be finished, there will be so many people talking ****... you can't make that kind of power N/A... you can't pull on this type of car...
Just wait your turn is coming.
I win but with the worst hangover **** I can't sleep.
Jason if you wanna make more power man buy that hta35r shearfab kit, the 30 isn't that effecient with such high boost. Hta35r has an awesome spool up
hta35r > any 30r
What's this about nitrous? Your doing all kinds of new stuff

Me and V have been talking i will be picking up some parts.
Alright alright, lets put it this way, back before Jason did more stuff to his car (I think back around the 26 psi days even) and Jason's is the only Evo I have been in since Ray's that I can safely say I would gladly drive around. Granted, I didn't drive it, so there may be some PITA issues, but me saying I would gladly drive it around means that there is little to no turbo lag and that's really all that matters to me.
In short: Jason's is the closest Evo I've seen (especially with the extra weight, and no gutting) to an STi

Who the **** cares if it has 200 whp or 600 whp. I know two things: Jason can drive and we're not just talking drag racing here, and his car is mad fast and pretty sweet. Besides some aesthetic things which are personal pref anyway, I think the car is amazing and the interior is brilliant. I definitely have never seen the inside of such a fast Evo look so VIP.
More so, even I can tell mechanically that Jason's car is set-up sweet and that he knows what he is doing. He may talk a big talk, but he walks a big walk... Plus... he's a big dude anyway, so I wouldn't **** with him.
The ****er is running RA-1s on the street, you know he's ****ing crazy.
If I had the time and the money I can guarantee Jason would be Faircloughing the **** out of the STi for me too.
