If you delete the o2 that you have now you'll have to tune the ECU so you don't throw a code. If you have an o2 bung welded on you can just run both the wideband and the stock o2.

I have my wideband in the stock rear o2 spot and the stock o2 is removed. I also have the wideband fed into the ECU in place of the front o2 sensor so I can cruise around with the car a bit leaner than stock

Ya, yo, for sure. I think I want Chaz to try to fix up the tail overlays a bit (cut things, fold things down better...) sometime too.

Finally got the ipod kit installed too and traded the sat kit for it

Yeah. Like 500x better... Those shiny crystal lights with the black don't work well. And I'm glad Euclid recommended de-badging it too.

Have you been harassed at all for your tint?

Wow, I didn't know you could do this. Always thought you would need the whole aem standalone ecu to run a wideband with it.

I've had 20% for almost 3 years now between my evo and the rsx. It does appear darker on a black car but my gf and i have never been pulled over or cited for it. I was pulled over for speeding the morning of the last meet we had and the HP just "advised" me that it was too dark.

All the other times I've been pulled over, which isn't many, they never metioned anything. HP was just being a dick!

Almost all widebands have a Nernst-type narrowband output. Some are even programmable. You just wire in the output of the wideband to the signal input for the stock O2 sensor. But you have to keep the front heater circuit in tact. Voila! I did this on my Galant, but it was more complicated being that it had 4 O2 sensors.

I knew you could wire it to the ecu for logging and such, but I didn't know you could do this and completely remove the stock primary o2. Will doing this result in a more accurate AFR reading for the ecu to work with?
