You also have to take into consideration that a 2psi difference will have an effect on iat's, egt's and where the turbo efficiency is. I'm not saying that it will be huge, but the turbo has to work just a touch harder to crack the wastegate than it will do at sea level.

 

Haha you bish I'm the one who gave Jason your number and talked him into it ask him foo...anyway John has a ix mr with some bolt ons and a mbc Fick you could prob get some high boost out of jasons car yo just get crazy like we did on my car back in the day I need to figure out why I'm only hitting 1.5 bars of boost lol. I might have a lil boost leak where we tapped for map...we did eliminate evap and egr so it might be something in that area...I'll think about it tomorrow when it's not raining

 

I'm starting to wonder if the EGR is getting pushed open under boost.

 

I was wondering the same thing..I thought maybe valve was staying possibly open..I tried hooking both lines up to a T then running it to the im and it blew the line off, same 1.5bar boost... then I also tried looping the nipples on egr together

I just got home from a movie but got to thinking, actually I can't stop thinking about it is the xml you gave me with all the cool new **** your psi based boost instead of the load based patch? Boost comes on fast, holds like normal. It
s just not getting up in boost like before and can't help but too think egr valve is culprit..I had map on and off a few times today with different o rings etc. so I do not think that that's it at all because if there is a leak it would be from the egr staying open or like you said getting pushed open

Tomorrow morning I'll check out xmls etc and see whats what but for now I'm going to bed

Ordered some parts they should be showing up soon, I am excited the evo is a fun car

 

The xml has the psi boost patch tables , but they are inactive until the correct changes are made.

 

is there any way someone can post a link to get me to the diagram of where to pin into my ecu for my afr gauge?? i would greatly apreciate it, cuz its gettin kinda annoying starring at my gauge telling me im running rich lol
